Model 1947-B • Operator's Guide
Your Fog Folder has been carefully crafted to bring order to the misty mornings of your life. Simply wait for fog to settle, then gently guide it into the intake valve on the left side of the machine.
Turn the brass crank three times clockwise. The fog will spiral through the internal chambers, being pressed into neat, accordion-like folds. A soft hissing sound indicates proper function.
Your folded fog emerges from the chute as compact squares. Store them in the accompanying wooden box, where they will keep fresh for several weeks, gradually releasing their peculiar, comforting dampness.
Oil the brass hinges monthly with a feather. Clean the glass viewing window with a soft cloth. The machine requires no electricity—only patience and the gentle touch of someone who remembers when the world moved slower.
